It is impossible to say that you love God and yet not serve Him. When you said yes to Jesus, you became a Kingdom servant by default. Refuse to be a spectator and take your position in serving God.
Here are verses about serving God that will charge you to faithfully serve God all the days of your life:
So, you shall serve the Lord your God, and He will bless your bread and your water. And I will take sickness away from the midst of you.
And it shall be that if you earnestly obey My commandments which I command you today, to love the Lord your God and serve Him with all your heart and with all your soul, then I will give you the rain for your land in its season, the early rain and the latter rain, that you may gather in your grain, your new wine, and your oil.
Now therefore, fear the Lord, serve Him in sincerity and in truth, and put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the River and in Egypt. Serve the Lord! And if it seems evil to you to serve the Lord, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.
Only fear the Lord, and serve Him in truth with all your heart; for consider what great things He has done for you.
If they obey and serve Him, they shall spend their days in prosperity, and their years in pleasures.
Serve the Lord with fear, and rejoice with trembling.
If anyone serves Me, let him follow Me; and where I am, there My servant will be also. If anyone serves Me, him My Father will honor.
Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.
Serve wholeheartedly, as if you were serving the Lord, not people.
And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ.
Am I now trying to win the approval of human beings, or of God? Or am I trying to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a servant of Christ.
12.1 Peter 4:10
Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.
